Our ESL Classes (English as a Second Language) continue to grow. We meet every Saturday from 9AM to Noon in Grill Hall A/B and offer four levels of proficiency. All are welcome to join. We recently lost our level 2 teacher when his employer transferred him to North Carolina. We are in need of one additional teacher now. This summer, join Fr. Ethan and members of our community on a transformative Marian pilgrimage. Be drawn to the heart of our Blessed Mother, who always leads us closer to the love of her Son. This prayerful journey will take us through Medjugorje, Lourdes, Fatima, Garabandal, Santiago de Compostela, Lisbon, and other sacred sites where countless pilgrims have encountered grace, healing, and renewal. The joy of the resurrection continues – please join us every Monday for Bible Study as we watch The Chosen together as a community followed by meaningful sharing and reflection. We gather every Monday at 7:15pm in Grill Hall.

SJE Men’s Council invites you to The Annual SJE Wine Tasting Spectacular is coming to Grill Hall on Saturday evening, May 9th. Enjoy an evening of gourmet dinner, unlimited sampling of wines from California and around the world plus live entertainment. Tickets are on sale for $55 per person at the Plaza beginning next Sunday, April 19th. Please see the bulletin for more information.

Ladies, please join us for our Women’s Tea, “A Sisterhood in Bloom,” on April 18th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Enjoy delicious savory food, tea, uplifting fellowship, and an inspiring talk from guest speaker Emily Wilson Hussem. Tickets are $30 and available after the 9 and 11 a.m. Masses or by emailing [email protected]. All women are warmly invited.

Young people, you too are called to serve in the community of God! In serving at the altar, you will genuinely appreciate the liturgy in worship and service, not to mention journey along with the other young people in the community. Meet new friends or better yet, invite your friends too! Information can be found in the bulletin and don’t delay, training begins on April 23rd. See you there!

This Sunday, April 12th, is St. Vincent de Paul Bundle Sunday. Please bring your donations of usable clothing, non-perishable food, and other household items to the Lassen Parking Lot until 2pm, where you’ll find the SVDP truck ready to receive your gifts. Your generosity directly supports neighbors in need. May our shared compassion continue to be a sign of Christ’s love in our community.

Join us on Wednesday, March 25 in Grill Hall for the final session of our How to Lent video series. Forever Grateful will present the last episode, “Almsgiving,” exploring how generosity deepens our trust in God and strengthens our love of neighbor. Please see the bulletin for more information.

Join us for the beautiful Filipino tradition of the Salubong, as Mater Dolorosa, the Sorrowful Mother, meets her Risen Son at the break of glorious Easter dawn. Our celebration begins with a candlelit procession at 5:00am, featuring the traditional shower of rose petals as we welcome the Resurrection. Mass follows at 5:45am on April 5th. Come greet Easter morning with faith, light, and joyful hope.

Last fall, many of you participated in our Stewardship Renewal and chose to increase your weekly offertory gift. Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness — your support allows St. John Eudes to care for our parish, sustain our ministries, and serve those who rely on us. If you made an intention in October but have not yet adjusted your gift, this is a gentle reminder that it’s not too late to begin. And if you did not participate last fall, you are always welcome to start now. The SJE Golf Tournament returns on Monday, March 30 at the beautiful Porter Valley Country Club. Join us for a day of golf, fellowship, and community as alumni, parents, parishioners, and friends come together in support of our school. Proceeds help fund campus improvements, academic enrichment, and programs that nurture the spiritual and personal growth of our students. As part of our Holy Week tradition, we invite you to join us for the SJE Community Seder Meal on Tuesday, March 31st at 6:00 PM in Grill Hall. It is a meaningful evening of sharing in the ancient tradition that connects us with our Jewish brothers and sisters, deepening our understanding of faith, liberation, and God’s enduring covenant. Rejoice in this glorious Easter season with a time of family fun! All our children are invited to enjoy an exciting Easter Egg Hunt on our expansive field after every Easter Sunday Mass on April 5th. To make this a truly memorable experience for our little ones, we warmly invite your support. Through the season of Lent, we invite you every Friday evening for the Stations of the Cross. This beautiful devotion helps us walk with Christ to open our hearts to deeper reflection and gratitude. A simple Lenten Soup Supper will be served after in the spirit of simplicity. Stations of the Cross in English will be offered at 6pm and in Spanish at 7:15pm. Soup supper begins at 6:30p. As part of our Lenten observance, the sacrament of confession is available every Saturday from 9am to 10:30am and our Community Penance Service is scheduled on March 18th at 7pm, with several priests available for confessions.

Please join our prayer community, Forever Grateful Ministry in series of evenings of reflection in this time of Lent. Beginning February 25th and every Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. Let us enter this holy season with a purpose.
