The Bereavement Ministry warmly invites you to join us for a Mass of Remembrance on November 2 at 6:30 p.m. As we prayerfully remember our loved ones who have gone before us, the evening will begin with a candlelight procession. Please arrive 20 minutes before Mass and bring a small photo of your loved one to be displayed. See the bulletin for more information.

It's that time of year again! Troop 911 is bringing back its annual Marie Callender's Whole Pie Fundraiser at St. John Eudes Parish. Scouts will be taking pie orders before and after Mass on Sundays, November 1 and November 8. Pies will be available for pickup on Tuesday, November 24, just in time for your Thanksgiving holiday celebrations. Thank you for supporting Troop 911 and the Scouting program at our parish!

Next Sunday is our First Sunday Food Collection Drive for the Guadalupe Pantry. As food pantry deliveries continue to decline and requests for assistance increase, we invite you to donate peanut butter, canned soup, cereal, baby formula, and other nonperishable food items. Please see the bulletin for more information. Thank you for sharing God's blessings with those in need.

Special Schedule Reminder: On Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. only. There will be no 6:30 p.m. Mass, and the parish office will be closed. We invite you to join us in prayer and wish you a blessed holiday.

Join us this Monday, October 12, at 7:15 p.m. as our Monday Night Bible Study begins a new six-week series, The Crux. This Gospel-centered journey brings together Scripture, reflection, and meaningful conversation as we deepen our faith and grow in discipleship. All are welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!

This weekend, after all Masses, a Christian family from Bethlehem will be with us displaying beautiful handmade olive wood religious items. Your support helps sustain Christian families in the Holy Land, where Christians now make up only a small portion of Bethlehem’s population. We invite you to stop by and support their craft and livelihood. Thank you for your generosity.

Confirmation students, please join us on September 20th beginning with the 9 a.m. Mass, followed by praise music and fellowship. Incoming 9th and 10th graders beginning their Confirmation journey are expected to attend as part of their preparation. Year 2 Candidates, your second-year journey also begins that day, and your presence is likewise expected as your first session of the year. More details will be shared soon on Flocknote.

On September 19, we joyfully celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the El Shaddai Catholic Charismatic Community. All are invited to join us beginning at 10:00 AM for a vibrant Celebration of Praise, followed by Holy Mass, and a reflection on the Holy Scriptures. Come and be part of this grace-filled milestone as we give thanks for three decades of faith, prayer, and renewal in the Holy Spirit.

All teens of our parish — not only those preparing for Confirmation — are invited to our Sunday Gospel Brunch and Youth Ministry Kickoff on September 20th, beginning with the 9am Mass, followed by praise music and fellowship. And yes, brunch means yummy brunch delights to start the year joyfully. Teens, bring your friends; families are warmly welcome. Our Bereavement Ministry invites anyone who has lost a loved one to an 8-week support group offering prayer, sharing, and compassionate accompaniment. The next session begins Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 AM. This is a space to walk together through grief and find hope in community. Please see the bulletin for details.

Save the date for Oktoberfest 2026 on Saturday, September 26, from 6:15 to 9:30 PM. Enjoy a German dinner and live music from a German-American brass band for $50 per person. Proceeds support our parish ministries and local charities. Tickets go on sale the weekends of September, and will also be available at the door and in the parish office.

We invite all children in 5th grade and older who are baptized, have received First Communion, and who love Jesus with joyful hearts to join our beautiful tradition of altar serving. This ministry is a special way for our young people to stand close to the altar, help the priest, and learn to serve with reverence and delight. Training for new altar servers begins Wednesday, September 16th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Church. We would love to welcome many of our children into this wonderful ministry.

A heartfelt thank you to all our ministries for the beautiful spirit you brought to our parish anniversary. Your time, generosity, and willingness to serve helped create a celebration filled with faith, joy, and fellowship—signs that we truly live as One Divine Heart. Your presence reflected the unity and dedication that make our St. John Eudes community so special. We are deeply grateful for all you do. May God bless you and your ministries abundantly.

This weekend, our parish will take up a special second collection to support those impacted by the recent earthquake in Colombia. All funds received will be directed to Catholic Relief Services, who are already on the ground providing emergency assistance and long-term recovery support. Thank you for your generosity and for standing in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in need.

Next weekend is Sandwich Sunday! Join the Society of St. Vincent de Paul after the 11:00 a.m. Mass in Grill Hall as we prepare sack lunches for our neighbors in need. Donations of sandwich bread, sliced sandwich meat, peanut butter, jelly, fruit, chips, and cookies are greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us share Christ's love through service.

Join us for God's Amazing Grace, a six-week Bible study inspired by the beloved hymn Amazing Grace. Beginning Monday, August 10, at 7:15 p.m., each session explores Scripture and God's grace in our daily lives. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please contact the parish office.
