This Sunday, our parish is hosting Bundle Sunday in partnership with St. Vincent de Paul. The truck will be parked on the Lassen lot to accept donations of clothing, shoes, small household items and more. Your generosity makes a real difference to help those in need.
When we offer our time to pray, to serve others, or to be present to those in need, this is stewardship. True stewardship is what we have lived as a community at St. John Eudes. Because of your generosity of heart, we are able to bring love into motion. Next weekend is our Commitment Weekend for our stewardship appeal. Please prayerfully consider how you can live God’s transformative work in our community come to life. The commitment you are making for our weekly offering supports specific needs in our parish such as maintaining and improving facilities, technology and communication and pastoral care to the sick, the elderly, the young people and those most vulnerable. November is Oktoberfest time. And don't have to travel to Germany to enjoy the festivities!! Because on Saturday evening November 1, 2025, from 6:15 to 9:30 PM, the SJE Men's Council presents the Annual SJE Oktoberfest (we only missed October by a day)
Last year's event was a huge success - and we expect no less this year.
Most importantly, proceeds benefit church ministries and local charities.
So, mark OKTOBERFEST on November 1 in bold letters on your calendar. And then get ready for a fun evening complete with a German dinner and dancing to a real German-American brass band.
Tickets are available after Mass starting October 5 through October 26 and during the week in the office and gift shop. And at the door on the day of the event.
As a community who commits to safe environment, we are holding training for all volunteers as our pledge to protect God’s children. It is mandatory to attend safe environment training for all volunteers. Please see the bulletin for our October 1st & 8th schedule.

We joyfully invite you to the celebration of San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint, this Saturday, September 27 at 1:00pm here at St. John Eudes. Bishop Albert Bahhuth will be our main celebrant as we honor San Lorenzo’s faith and martyrdom. This Mass is the culmination of novena celebrations held across parishes in the San Fernando Region, with St. John Eudes as the host parish. St. John Eudes Parish is entering a community discernment on how we can engage in opening the gift of Stewardship among ourselves. With Burning Hearts: Our Love in Motion is an initiative that allows us to prayerfully reflect on how we can contribute to the growth of our community by joyfully returning a portion of God’s blessings back to support the exciting life and spirit that is moving in our church. Please pray how you can participate as a faithful of God.
In a time marked by deep wounds, we are gathering as a community in solidarity with all who suffered or died in violence, and for those who carry grief, anxiety and trauma from it. Rooted in the Church’s observance of Jubilee of Consolation and World Mental Health Day, Healing and Hope, Mass of Reconciling and Restoring affirms the dignity of every person reminding us that we are beloved children of God -- a God of Healing and Hope. Join the community on Wednesday, October 1st at 6:30pm for Mass, opportunity for Adoration in the Blessed Sacrament and Sacrament of Confession.

September 27 at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank. This event is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and walk in solidarity with those in need. Teens preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation can now register for the two-year journey. Space is
limited, so please register immediately. The last day to register is September 14th and there is a mandatory
meeting in the parish hall for parents on September 14th at 3pm. Let us walk together with our young people as they deepen their love for the Lord and prepare to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Join us for a joyful celebration marking the 100th anniversary of St. John Eudes’ canonization with a special Intercultural Mass on Sunday, August 24th at 12:00pm. Please note that this combines the usual 11am and 1pm Masses. After Mass, the plaza comes alive with our Intercultural Feast! Come in your traditional cultural attire and share in the joy of food, music, and fellowship as we honor the spirit and unity and holiness that St. John Eudes embodied.
