On September 19, we joyfully celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the El Shaddai Catholic Charismatic Community. All are invited to join us beginning at 10:00 AM for a vibrant Celebration of Praise, followed by Holy Mass, and a reflection on the Holy Scriptures. Come and be part of this grace-filled milestone as we give thanks for three decades of faith, prayer, and renewal in the Holy Spirit.

All teens of our parish — not only those preparing for Confirmation — are invited to our Sunday Gospel Brunch and Youth Ministry Kickoff on September 20th, beginning with the 9am Mass, followed by praise music and fellowship. Our Bereavement Ministry invites anyone who has lost a loved one to an 8-week support group offering prayer, sharing, and compassionate accompaniment. The next session begins Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 AM. This is a space to walk together through grief and find hope in community. Please see the bulletin for details.

Save the date for Oktoberfest 2026 on Saturday, September 26, from 6:15 to 9:30 PM. Enjoy a German dinner and live music from a German-American brass band for $50 per person. Proceeds support our parish ministries and local charities. Tickets go on sale the weekends of September, and will also be available at the door and in the parish office.

We invite all children in 5th grade and older who are baptized, have received First Communion, and who love Jesus with joyful hearts to join our beautiful tradition of altar serving. This ministry is a special way for our young people to stand close to the altar, help the priest, and learn to serve with reverence and delight. Training for new altar servers begins Wednesday, September 16th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Church. We would love to welcome many of our children into this wonderful ministry.

A heartfelt thank you to all our ministries for the beautiful spirit you brought to our parish anniversary. Your time, generosity, and willingness to serve helped create a celebration filled with faith, joy, and fellowship—signs that we truly live as One Divine Heart. Your presence reflected the unity and dedication that make our St. John Eudes community so special. We are deeply grateful for all you do. May God bless you and your ministries abundantly.

This weekend, our parish will take up a special second collection to support those impacted by the recent earthquake in Colombia. All funds received will be directed to Catholic Relief Services, who are already on the ground providing emergency assistance and long-term recovery support. Next weekend is Sandwich Sunday! Join the Society of St. Vincent de Paul after the 11:00 a.m. Mass in Grill Hall as we prepare sack lunches for our neighbors in need. Donations of sandwich bread, sliced sandwich meat, peanut butter, jelly, fruit, chips, and cookies are greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us share Christ's love through service.

Join us for God's Amazing Grace, a six-week Bible study inspired by the beloved hymn Amazing Grace. Beginning Monday, August 10, at 7:15 p.m., each session explores Scripture and God's grace in our daily lives. Everyone is welcome! For more information, please contact the parish office.

The Cristo Vive Charismatic Prayer Group invites everyone to join them every Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Montall Hall for an evening of praise, prayer, and reflection. Next weekend is the First Sunday of August, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul invites you to support our monthly Guadalupe Pantry Food Collection Drive. As the need for food assistance continues to grow, your donations of nonperishable food items are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity and for helping care for our neighbors in need.

The SCRC Convention will take place Labor Day weekend, September 5 and 6, at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. Father Ethan will be a guest speaker on Sunday, September 6, and the Forever Grateful Choir will lead Praise and Worship during the weekend. The Emmaus Ministry will be outside after every Mass selling raffle tickets for our upcoming raffle today, Sunday, July 26, following the 1:00 p.m. Mass. Thank you for your generosity and support.

Put your faith into action! Join the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for Sandwich Sunday immediately following the 11:00 a.m. Mass in Rooms A & B of Grill Hall as we prepare sack lunches for our neighbors experiencing hunger. Donations of sandwich bread, sliced meat and cheese, apples or oranges, individual bags of chips or cookies, and juice drinks are greatly appreciated. This is a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to serve together and teach our children the joy of living our faith through acts of love and compassion. The completed lunches will be distributed through FISH of the West Valley and the Guadalupe Center, helping provide both nourishment and hope to those in need. Together, let's make a difference—one sandwich at a time!
