Please join us to celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe’s feast on December 12 with two masses: one at 5 am and a bilingual mass at 6:30 pm There will be a reception in the hall after each mass with Mexican mariachis, tamales, and pastries. We hope to see you there.

Our ESL (English as a Second Language) classes continue to grow, and we have recently advanced the course to a fourth level of proficiency. We meet every Saturday morning from 9 AM to noon in Grill Hall A/B. For more information, please read the bulletin

This Christmas, let’s share generosity with families in need. St. Vincent de Paul is preparing 70 Christmas Dinner Baskets for those facing poverty or homelessness. We invite sponsors to help provide turkeys, chickens, pies, and more. Your donation is tax-deductible. Alongside this, our Giving Tree helps families provide gifts for their children, ensuring joy during the holidays. Please see the bulletin on how to participate.

This Thursday, November 27th at 9:00 a.m., we will celebrate our Thanksgiving Mass. You are invited to bring bread or wine to be blessed during the liturgy, which you may later share at your family’s Thanksgiving feast. Please note there will be no evening Mass on Thursday. On Friday, Mass will be at 9:00 a.m., and there will also be no evening Mass. Let us come together in gratitude to the Lord for His many blessings.

Rachel's Vineyard retreat is for men and women struggling with the emotional and spiritual pain of abortion. The retreat is designed to help participants work through repressed grief and anger in a safe, nonjudgmental setting and come to acceptance, healing, and hope for the future. Developed in the Roman Catholic Tradition, it utilizes spiritual exercises and rituals to help grieve the loss of unborn children and to accept God’s forgiveness. Advent is coming! Bring your family advent wreaths with you to Mass on November 29 & 30 to be blessed for the Advent Season. Don’t miss the workshop on Nov. 22nd!

Last year, St. John Eudes Parish and School had a blast participating in the Chatsworth Holiday parade. And this year, we want to have a bigger community presence. We are looking for volunteers to share and drive their large flat bed trucks so we can decorate and be part of the parade! See the bulletin on how to sign up.

It’s the time of the year again to buy your Christmas Poinsettias! The cost is $15 each and you can buy for yourself to take home or as a donation to the Altar. We will be taking orders on the weekend of November 30th. Thank you for your support!

We are delighted to welcome Fr. Fabian Esparafita as our new Associate Pastor here at St. John Eudes! Fr. Fabian joins us from Argentina, and we are blessed to have him as part of our parish family. He will celebrate Mass today at 1:00 PM, and immediately afterward, we invite you to a light reception — a wonderful opportunity to greet him and extend your personal welcome. It’s the time of the year for our Marie Callender’s Pie sale sponsored by Troop 911. Please see the bulletin on how to order your pies in time for your family festive meals! Pies are ready for pick up on Tuesday, November 25th. Make sure you get your orders in by November 18th.
