Through the season of Lent, we invite you every Friday evening for the Stations of the Cross. This beautiful devotion helps us walk with Christ to open our hearts to deeper reflection and gratitude. A simple Lenten Soup Supper will be served after in the spirit of simplicity. Stations of the Cross in English will be offered at 6pm and in Spanish at 7:15pm. Soup supper begins at 6:30p. As part of our Lenten observance, the sacrament of confession is available every Saturday from 9am to 10:30am and our Community Penance Service is scheduled on March 18th at 7pm, with several priests available for confessions.

Please join our prayer community, Forever Grateful Ministry in series of evenings of reflection in this time of Lent. Beginning February 25th and every Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. Let us enter this holy season with a purpose.

Next Sunday, St. John Eudes St. Vincent De Paul Council will hold its Guadalupe Food Pantry Collection Drop-Off to support our local community and help families who are struggling with food insecurity. Your generosity makes a real difference. Please consider donating items such as peanut butter, canned soup, cereal, and macaroni and cheese. Thank you for helping ensure no family in our community goes hungry.

The 8th Grade Class warmly invites you to join them for a delicious Pancake Breakfast in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Come together this Sunday after the 7 a.m., 9 a.m., and 11 a.m. Masses. Your support helps our 8th graders make this year one of the most memorable of their lives. For $10 per adult and $6 per child, enjoy a hearty breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Celebrate Catholic Schools Week with St. John Eudes School in faith, academic excellence and strong school community. It kicks off with an Open House after the 9am Mass next Sunday and a special Pancake Breakfast. All week celelebration is under way as we highlight the many gifts our children and school families has to offer. In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, our special schedule mass will be observed this Monday, January 19th. Morning Mass will be at 9:00am and there will be no evening Mass. Our Parish Office is closed for the day.

We have members in our community who have recently lost a loved one to death, and as a parish ministry, the Bereavement Support group helps them work through their grief and find meaning in continuing the journey in their lives. The following program begins January 10th. If you know any friends and family members who would find support meaningful, please see the bulletin for more information.

Hospitality Sunday is back this weekend! Please join us after the morning Masses for fellowship in the parish hall and meet people in the community. Thank you for helping make St. John Eudes such a marvelous and joyful community.

There will be novena prayers to commemorate the Santo Niño after the 6:30pm Mass beginning January 16th, leading up to the celebration of the Holy Child Jesus on January 25th at the children’s Mass at 9:00am. We will have the traditional Filipino dance with the Baby Jesus, “sinulog” and Hispanic traditional Aztec Dancing honoring the Holy Child as we celebrate our multicultural diversity. Please bring your images of the Infant Jesus, Santo Niño for a blessing and join in our celebration.

Please join us to celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe’s feast on December 12 with two masses: one at 5 am and a bilingual mass at 6:30 pm There will be a reception in the hall after each mass with Mexican mariachis, tamales, and pastries. We hope to see you there.

Our ESL (English as a Second Language) classes continue to grow, and we have recently advanced the course to a fourth level of proficiency. We meet every Saturday morning from 9 AM to noon in Grill Hall A/B. For more information, please read the bulletin

This Christmas, let’s share generosity with families in need. St. Vincent de Paul is preparing 70 Christmas Dinner Baskets for those facing poverty or homelessness. We invite sponsors to help provide turkeys, chickens, pies, and more. Your donation is tax-deductible. Alongside this, our Giving Tree helps families provide gifts for their children, ensuring joy during the holidays. Please see the bulletin on how to participate.

This Thursday, November 27th at 9:00 a.m., we will celebrate our Thanksgiving Mass. You are invited to bring bread or wine to be blessed during the liturgy, which you may later share at your family’s Thanksgiving feast. Please note there will be no evening Mass on Thursday. On Friday, Mass will be at 9:00 a.m., and there will also be no evening Mass. Let us come together in gratitude to the Lord for His many blessings.

Rachel's Vineyard retreat is for men and women struggling with the emotional and spiritual pain of abortion. The retreat is designed to help participants work through repressed grief and anger in a safe, nonjudgmental setting and come to acceptance, healing, and hope for the future. Developed in the Roman Catholic Tradition, it utilizes spiritual exercises and rituals to help grieve the loss of unborn children and to accept God’s forgiveness.
